DIRECTOR STATEMENT: It's hard for me to sum up the process of "Ripe" as it is still very much alive. The most personal, not to mention professional, project I've completed to date, this film really took on a life of it's own from conception to the premiere. Like every true piece of art, this film reflects everyone who sweated underneath the l.a. summer sun to get it made. Because of the films documentary feel, it really became a story about how we process the moments that make up our lives. I feel humbled and honored to share my film with the world. My dream is that it will serve as a catalyst for others to share their point's of view whatever they might be.
