Marty Ollstein, Cinematographer

Currently President of Crystal Image and has played an active leading role in the film industry's transition to digital technology. Inspired by his extensive work with filters as a cinematographer, he invented and developed Crystal Image software, the first digital tool to precisely emulate optical filter effects. A contributing member to the ASC Technology Committee, Ollstein is involved in evaluating new technology, recommending technical standards, and leading the effort to educate cinematographers on the expanding potential of the new digital tools and processes. An accomplished feature director and cinematographer, Ollstein's work ranges from features to commercials, music videos, and documentaries.

Valeri Ross, Actress

A stage (Improv at The Comedy Store & The Ice House, “Letters to Harriet Tubman”), film (Sojourner Truth, Losing Isaiah, Glory Road) and voice actor (South Africa Belongs To Us and Of Light and Darkness), is best known for her work on TV which includes ER, CSI:NY, Cold Case, and Studio 60. Most recently, she played the Stenographer on the “Deposition” episode of THE OFFICE. In 2008, she is featured in “Lakeview Terrace” with Samuel L. Jackson and Tracy Ullman’s “State of the Union”. She is also a member of the Screening Panel for the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival.


Stacy Davies, Journalist

Stacy Davies has been a professional arts and entertainment journalist and editor for over 12 years. She began her career as a coverage writer for Jodie Foster’s Egg Pictures and the Sundance Institute, writing synopses and recommendations on over 100 scripts. Stacy subsequently worked for Academy Award winning lyricists Alan and Marilyn Bergman, and in 2007, she was a Coordinating Producer in the development department at E! True Hollywood Story. Currently, Stacy is a freelance journalist and teaches both writing courses in UCR's Extension program and film study courses in their OSHER program.
